On June 1, 2022, a bilateral meeting of the Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic Daniyar Amangeldiev with the Minister of Economy of the United Arab Emirates Mr. Abdullah bin Tauk Al-Marri was held at the State Residence No. 1 “Ala-Archa”, where the director of the Halal Industry Development Center Almaz Kaiyrbekov took part.

Bilateral cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the United Arab Emirates covers a wide range of issues of political, socio-economic, cultural, humanitarian, scientific and technical cooperation.

              UAE Minister of Economy Abdullah bin Tauk Al Marri expressed interest in implementing joint plans to develop cooperation and increase trade and economic turnover between the two countries.

             Also, on June 1, the business forum “Kyrgyzstan – United Arab Emirates” started

B2B meetings for domestic exporters and entrepreneurs with representatives of over 20 companies from the United Arab Emirates were organized at the site of the business forum “Kyrgyzstan – United Arab Emirates”.

             At the business forum, the participants discussed the possibilities of mutual use of the trade and economic potential between the Kyrgyz Republic and the United Arab Emirates, and holding B2B meetings will reveal new prospects for business and investment cooperation, with an emphasis on the subsequent implementation of investment projects, the creation of joint ventures, the promotion of domestic products on UAE market.

Export and investment opportunities of the Kyrgyz Republic were presented at the business forum.

As a result of the B2B meetings, contracts were signed for the supply of meat and honey in the amount of 11 million US dollars, as well as Memorandums of Cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the United Arab Emirates on the establishment of a joint Kyrgyz-Emirati Business Council.
